3rd August - In a recent interview, Phoenix Suns CEO Josh Bartelstein spoke about the team's new acquisition, Tyus Jones.

When asked about Jones, Bartelstein said, "We have always been avid fans of Tyus as a player, and now we're really excited to get to know Tyus as a person and make him believe in us and our vision for development, as well as the role he will play on the team. We think it's a perfect fit."

According to previous reports, Jones signed a veteran minimum contract worth $3.3 million with the Suns. In the 2023-24 season, Jones played 66 regular-season games for the Wizards, averaging 29.3 minutes, 12.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, with only 1.0 turnover. He had a shooting percentage of 48.9%, a three-point shooting percentage of 41.4%, and a free throw percentage of 80.0%.
